Embedding based Emoji Search
We all know that Jev is being used for everything that is a classification based problem.
But the problem is it is used for the sake of using it. And sometimes it may be overkill or might not be right tool for the job.
Recently Linear team has used Jev for their emoji search feature. However Max has a interesting post on why a small model like bge-small is more than enough for such use cases in terms of accuracy, cost, latency, etc.
